If you have seen my previous posts you know that I’m trying to get a MCITP Server administrator 2008 certification for under USD 1.600,- . Since it has been a while i thought it would be nice to give you a update of my progress.

I have started with Windows Server 2008, Configuring Active Directory (TS) thats the 70-640 exam. Currently watching dvd 2 from the trainsignal package and must say it is a really nice way of studying.

Each Thursday evening from 19:00 till 22:30 i watch the dvd’s). And Fridays i take a hour or so ( if needed) to do some homework . Started, hmm wait let me check, ok found the date 19-2-2009 and since then i spend 7 evenings watching the dvd’s. I’m at 70% for the TS 70-640 and did some practice exams.

The package i ordered from trainsignal came with transcender testing software. I used it several times but found the interface not friendly and the program some what limited. So i did some research and found a great testing program from ucertify.com i’ts not that transcender doesn’t do a good job, but i found the u-certify program better!!
